Gastroenteritis means inflammation of both the stomach and intestines.We spoke of the prefix dys-, which means "bad," "difficult," "abnormal," or "painful." A few other words that contain this prefix are:
antidysuric [anti-, against + " + uri, urine] - a substance that is "against painful urination" or in other words a substance that relieves painful or difficult urination
